Peter Wayne Starman was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Peter and Eva Starman. He married Charlene Starman on April 16, 2001, in Hawaii.
Before moving to Washoe Valley, he lived in Norwalk, California. He attended the University of California at Berkeley and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
He owned his own business, Demco Broach and Tool, in Commerce, California, and retired in 1996.
He enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting birdhouses, hunting, camping, traveling and classic cars. He was proud of his Swedish heritage.
Among his survivors are his wife of Washoe Valley.
